I can see land!! -- tow just transferred from Andrea to another boat to head into shore. Thanks Andrea crew for keeping me company the last few days!

As you can see, the tow found me!! Took a few flares (always nice to use what you have) and one of the guys clambered down from the ship to attach a rope and -- create a harness. I'm still in my boat - easier and safer given the height differences btwn boats. If tow is lost also means I can still control my boat. -- So it'll be about 2.5-3 days of slowly chugging back to Ensenada. Never say it'll be the last night in the boat - haha!

Floating towards Mexico atm. The current plan is to try to get a tow to Ensenada. The Baja peninsula only has two ports, at the top & bottom, 800 miles apart -- As always the winds have come up so I have to wait them out until mid next week before it's safe to get a tow. I woke up to the same forecast and heading and have made the tough call to head towards to the mainland again. As you can imagine, not fun doing this twice -- and this by my own decision by force of circumstances. Today was pretty rough. Started off good knowing I hadn't lost all my ground overnight. As the fay progressed and winds picked up (16-18kt) it felt like a -- graceful fall to the south. My spirits are pretty low as I feel so torn knowing this is completely out of my hands. There is nothing more I can do. God's hands. It's true that when you get broken down -- completely you find out who you are, I've found I run to my Father desperate for help. In the grand scheme, I'm pretty content with that revelation.

Been a pretty rough week overall. High winds and seas, with a small break Sat and Sun. Lost my main anchor on Tues night. Got the spare out on Sat when calm -- seems to be holding now. Was pretty seasick so passed out in the cabin really for the time. Ate proper meals yesterday for first time in 6 days. -- Week ahead similar. Pray it lifts sooner than Sunday and I don't go east. Morale is better than a few days ago. Need patience and not to worry I go too east.
